Beginning Wednesday morning, October 21, 2026, the District’s contractor will begin removing and replacing damaged concrete panels along the Hike & Bike Trail. The affected portion of the trail will be CLOSED while this work is underway, including evenings and weekends.
Heavy equipment will be operating in the work area and sections of the trail will be removed entirely. For your safety, please do not attempt to enter closed areas, and obey all posted warning signs and barriers. Barriers will be removed as soon as possible once the contractor has completed all work and the new concrete has cured.
The District will post updates as the work progresses.
The Board appreciates the community’s patience while these repairs are completed. The Board understands how important the Hike & Bike Trail is to the Bilma community and is committed to completing the work as quickly and safely as possible.
